 THE CHOP HOUSE PALM SPRINGS
A PRIME CUT ABOVE IN CULINARY EXCELLENCE, PERSONALIZED SERVICE, AND RELAXED SOPHISTICATION. BEST STEAKS IN THE DESERT.

Taking the entire dining experience — food, service, and atmosphere — seriously Kaiser and Lee Morcus, founders of the Kaiser Grille restaurants, have created another signature concept with their two Chop Houses: Palm Springs, and Palm Desert. Personal attention to every detail shines. As a testament to their success, The Chop Houses are among the elite Prime Time Top 10 Steakhouses of America are are honored with the Desert Sun Best Steaks in The Desert.

The Chop Houses are sanctuaries for steak aficionados, those who know “The Meat is Sweeter on the Bone.” The array of USDA Prime aged steaks and chops includes Kansas City Bone-In New York, Bone-In Filet Mignon, Cowboy Rib, and Porterhouse steaks, as well as Double Pork Chops and Rack of Lamb. All meats, butchered in-house, are grilled the classic way at lower temperatures longer, allowing juices, tenderness, and flavors to develop fully. Naturally, the standards on the fresh seafood offerings are equally stringent and high as the freshest seafood must compliment and shine with the best meats.

Dinners open with assorted appetizers and salads including Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops, Carpaccio of Tuna or Beef, French Onion Soup Gratinée, or The Wedge — Chilled Iceberg with Citrus Roquefort Dressing. Traditional vegetable and side dishes are designed to share. Top-shelf martinis are poured tableside from frosted shakers. Decadent desserts, all prepared in-house, and a diverse selection of Dessert Wines, Ports, Cognacs and Armagnacs, bring dinner to a rewarding, elegant close.

Rock walls and rolling columns of hand-fired, curved brick greet you at the entrance in Palm Springs with an interior reflecting nature’s best. The spectacular exhibition wine cellar inventories more than 3,500 wines; both restaurants have earned the prestigious Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Soothing colors and indirect lighting enhance an open-air patio on Palm Canyon Drive, the intimate interior rooms and a dramatic two-story Atrium.

Architectural features at Palm Desert combine cherry-wood paneling, warm, curved booths, and tasteful modern art throughout the restaurant’s dining areas, with a large lounge to begin or end your evening. Both restaurants feature lovely private dining and board rooms.
